IAU SOFA and JPL planetary ephemeris routines, plus a set of classes to
support fundamental astronomy programming. Developed and tested
under Windows 8.1 and .NET Framework 4.5. Many improvements over
the previous SofaJpl release.
AFM 51-40 (U.S. Air Force manual "Air Navigation") section pertaining
to bubble sextants, from the 1955 and 1960 editions. This is a single 990
k page, of which 95% is graphics. With a slow connection it may be best
to turn graphics off and download individual pictures as needed.
Preliminary release of the next Lunar version. The program itself has
been extensively tested with excellent results, but the documentation is
in a semi-finished state.
Tinyac: A Tiny Almanac Program
A small Windows program for computing the positions of the Sun, Moon,
planets, and stars. It will duplicate the precise planetary and stellar
reduction examples in The Astronomical Almanac to full accuracy.
Does not work under Windows 8. Rewrite pending.
